Application for Exam Preparation
Líbal, Tomáš ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of preparation of final exams at the Faculty of Information Technology of Brno University of Technology. It describes the process of design and implementation of a web application that allows teachers to create and manage room schemes and terms of individual exams. An important part of the application is also the automatic placement of students in the rooms and the generation of individual exam assignments for printing based on the given template and the method of placement. The application provides students with a clear view of individual exam terms and details about them. The work will result in a functional and usable web application written in Java using the Spring and Angular frameworks.
Web application of attribute-based authentication system
Klampár, Roman ; Malina, Lukáš (referee) ; Dzurenda, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the creation of web applications for the issuer and verifier entities of an Attribute-Based Credentials system Adopsio. The web applications were implemented using the microframework Flask, the Vue.js framework, and the PostgreSQL database. The issuer application allows the creation of new digital certificates containing signed attributes. The second application is the verifier entity, for which a graphical user interface is created to manage the authentication script.
Web Interface for a Database of Events
Hanzlík, Tomáš ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This work includes the design and implementation of a web application that serves as an interface between users and data aggregated from social networks. In the web interface, an emphasis is placed on displaying large amounts of data and browsing through filters. It consists of the JavaScript client part written in Vue.js and Nuxt.js and the server part of the Django REST framework that serves as a data source.
Mobile App: SuperSimple Shared Shopping List
Krhovský, Patrik ; Bartl, Vojtěch (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a mobile application for sharing daily-needed stuff with your family or friends and let each other know if something runs out and buy it. For sharing this stuff between users in real time is used database Google Cloud Firestore. The application is implemented in React native and it is available for iOS and Android devices. REST API is implemented in Node.js where is saved data from the mobile application and sending push notifications to mobile devices. This work is focused on user interface design which was implemented and tested. The application is available in Apple App Store and Google Play. With this application, a user should never forget to buy what he really needs.
Procedural programming in database
Nimrichter, Adam ; Povoda, Lukáš (referee) ; Uher, Václav (advisor)
Thesis deals with verification of concept of performing calculations inside database. Describes PostgreSQL database, its features and procedural language PL/pgSQL. Also focuses on machine learning methods, implementation of forward selection algorithm and verification of his functionality. Frequently used tool is MADlib, which is an open-source library of scalable in-database algorithms for machine learning, statistics and other analytic tasks.
Management of Exhibition Sites for a Festival
Duchoň, Radek ; Klobučníková, Dominika (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a new information system for the management of exhibition spaces at the festival called Animefest. The web application is implemented in Python using the Django application framework. The system uses a vector map in SVG format for the definition and representation of spaces. The created solution also provides its own system for recording the history of changes in the database. The system will allow festival organizers to catalog spaces and preserve the history of cooperation with various partners.
Monitoring Hybrid Net Infrastructure
Janda, Martin ; Plchot, Oldřich (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis follows developement of automatic monitoring system of devices in hybrid network for SELF servis company. System's purpose is to check availability by ICMP packets and to watch values by SNMP protocol. In this text you'll find description of requirements analysis, design of the system and implementation. In the last chapter follows results from real use and ideas for further development.
The Analysis of Databases Suitable for IoT Environment
Kohout, Petr ; Vrána, Roman (referee) ; Kořenek, Jan (advisor)
In recent years, the volume of data stored in applications of all types has increased. As the volume of data grows, the demands on databases increase. The classic relational databases are no longer suitable. Therefore, it is switching to new, non-relational storage (called NoSQL). During this work, NoSQL databases focusing on processing large data volumes were analyzed and compared for their performance and system requirements. In addition, requirements for new sensor data storage for IoTCloud project were specified. Driver for database Cassandra was implemented and integrated into the IoTCLoud project.
Content Based Photo Search
Dvořák, Pavel ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis covers design and practical realization of a tool for quick search in large image databases, containing from tens to hundreds of thousands photos, based on image similarity. The proposed technique uses various methods of descriptor extraction, creation of Bag of Words dictionaries and methods of storing image data in PostgreSQL database. Further, experiments with the implemented software were carried out to evaluate the search time effectivity and scaling possibilities of the design solution.
Application for display wireless network model
Žoldoš, Petr ; Mráz, Ľubomír (referee) ; Vajsar, Pavel (advisor)
The first step of Master's thesis was to gain knowledge about technologies Adobe Flex SDK and Google Maps API. Knowledge was used to develop an application, which let users create, generate and modify graphical wireless network model. Position and characteristics of each single unit are monitored either in a map interface or in building plans. Dates are gathered from forms filled by current user, from external file or periodically from connected database system. Theoretical part enlightens technologies that were used. It describes program development and solutions, which were made, along with examples of the source code. Included are printscreens of graphical user interface as well as description of how does it all work.
